Release 12.0.0 – New graphical workflow designer
The new SavvySuite Release 12.0.0 is ready. The most notable innovations this time are in the area of workflows. Read more about the most important changes here:
New version number
We have shortened the version number to make it easier to use. The now three-digit version number consists of three parts: Major Release, Minor Release and Patch.
New Workflow Designer
Configuring workflows has never been so easy! With our new graphical workflow designer in the administration application, you can create and edit workflows intuitively and clearly. Simply drag and drop the desired actions onto the drawing area, connect them with transition arrows and define properties such as names and IDs. This allows you to quickly and effortlessly give your workflows the desired shape!
Reaction to errors in workflows
Does your operations team spend a lot of time investigating workflows that break down due to an error?
From now on, you can specify how errors should be handled directly when configuring your workflows. Whether errors are logged and the workflow is nevertheless continued or an alternative process is initiated – you have full control. In addition, a new workflow action allows you to terminate workflows as required. This allows you to optimize not only the stability but also the efficiency of your processes!
Increased security
To increase protection against unauthorized access, communication between all application parts and the license server and connectors, as well as all database connections, is now completely encrypted. This is set up automatically during installation.
In addition, anonymous access to the REST Web API is no longer possible from this release.
Assigning authorizations in the Business Configuration Manager
Protect your configurations from unintentional changes and increase operational reliability! With the latest function in BCM, you can now define exactly which tabs and fields can be edited by catalog managers. This ensures that your employees can only view and edit the data for which they are authorized. This minimizes errors and ensures efficient workflows in your team!
Update to .NET 8
To ensure a reliable and stable system that is continuously supplied with security updates, we have migrated SavvySuite almost completely to the long-term support version .NET 8. This changeover not only offers long-term security, but also practical advantages: The standardization of configuration and log files further simplifies operation and makes it more efficient. A plus for stability and ease of maintenance!
