What is Reconciliation?

SavvySuite defines the target state of the IT services used based on processes, rules, and approvals .

Every entitlement and every resource in the system is traceable – from ordering to approval.

However, deviations can occur in everyday use:

For example, an account is added to an AD group by an employee outside of the defined process.
Legacy assets:

How does reconciliation work in SavvySuite?

SavvySuite performs a systematic comparison of the target and actual inventory. In the event of discrepancies, the system’s response can be flexibly defined:

Automatic correction:
Unauthorized permissions are automatically removed to restore the target state.
Retrospective approval:
Deviations can be submitted for retrospective review and approval – if approved, the target inventory is adjusted accordingly.
Process violation reporting:
For sensitive processes, pure reporting can be activated to document deviations without immediate intervention.
